Partner at INGEN HOUSZ advising companies and investors on venture financings, M&A, and licensing and commercial partnerships across technology and life sciences. Joep also frequently acts as a business mediator. He is known for pragmatic, business-first advice and in-depth knowledge of IP matters.

Joep previously worked as a commercial and IP lawyer at Freshfields (Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam). He then joined PHYSEE as Head of Partnerships, where he headed PHYSEE’s commercial partnerships with global companies in the construction and coating sectors.

Joep is a visiting lecturer at Radboud University and holds LLM degrees in Private European Law and Intellectual Property Law (both cum laude). He also studied at New York University on a McKinsey Grant.
