Berend is an associate at INGEN HOUSZ, specializing in early and late-stage venture capital financing rounds and M&A transactions. He has a particular passion for advising startups and investors engaged in the protein and energy transition sectors.

Before joining INGEN HOUSZ, Berend spent five years at Allen & Overy. He graduated cum laude from Radboud University, holding an LLM in corporate law. Additionally, he graduated cum laude from Grotius Academie, where he completed the mergers and acquisitions track.
